This is a Spektrum Smart G2 3S 11.1V 5000mAh LiPo battery pack with an IC3 plug, designed for high-performance RC models. It features a 50C continuous discharge rating for strong, consistent power, and Smart G2 technology that makes charging safer and easier through a single connection to a compatible Smart charger.
Smart G2 packs communicate via the IC3 data wire to the charger, so you can balance-charge without a separate balance lead. An integrated memory microchip stores key details such as brand, chemistry, capacity, C rating, cell voltages, temperature, and discharge cycles, plus a log of overheat, over-discharge and over-charge events to help monitor the battery’s health. The pack uses thicker internal metal side plates for improved heat dissipation and cell protection, and it automatically discharges to a safe storage voltage of 3.90V after 72 hours of inactivity, with adjustable storage settings and a storage discharge up to 1.5A. IC3/IC5 connectors are compatible with EC connectors for older systems, but full Smart charging features are unlocked when used with a Spektrum Smart charger.
